I took a look at your CUCV this morning and your drive shaft looks fine. The seat looks brand new. Looks like it is a runner and moves under its own power. Are you waiting for your EUC?

That is a great looking paint job. Is that pait pretty rough or smooth to the touch. The reason I ask is my truck could sand the skin off your palmes.

This rack was made by Conn Ferr, who have since been sold to Off Road Unlimited. The new racks are 4" tall where mine is 6". I found mine on an old Suburban in a local pick-n-pull and got it for $30. Sand blasted it and found some suitable wood at a reasonable price (read cheap) and painted it...

The shell is an aluminum Tradesman shell that can support up to 300 lbs. I scuffed up the original paint and then painted it.

Believe it or not I shot the truck in my driveway with a Harbor Freight HVLP $20 gun. Reduced the paint 3:1 and it went on fantastic.

I have read posts about setting up surge brakes on a M105. My CUCV has 4" of lift and 37" HUMVEE tires so the height of the M105 lines up better then a M101. Has anyone had success with using a CUCV to tow a M105. I do understand the weight issue and will be using the trailer for camping gear...
