the check valve in the pic that floridianson posted is the one that would be behind the grill on the left side. that check valve is fairly easy to remove and clean. i was getting a real bad air leak out one of the front glad hands, so i disassembled it, cleaned it, and reinstalled it.... no more...

I see there are a couple different styles of newer Ac units- what style is the easiest install?? Or does it not matter? Stratford ct is only about a hour and a half drive from me-( to pick one up from suprman)

sooo, not one big wire, one big wire and 2 little wires, that's 3 wires, ha-ha-ha (the count, sorry for stale comedy) and 3 wires i have no use for..... as far as the passenger mystery storage, i cant see a nsn- it was self tapped in place, and without removing the tappers its tough to examine...

and this is what is behind the passenger seat. there is also a large heavy gauge cord under the passenger seat coiled up with (i think a communications plug) that is plugged into nothing. thanks for all the info so far, and you are narrowing down all the small details of my truck that i havent...

no center seat....im not sure what it did come with, (at least its use) maybe a digitization rack??? the center had a platform that extended almost to the heater, and mounted on that, a square frame that is about a foot or so tall. any info would be greatly appericeated, and ill run out and take...
