    New animal in the yard.

Picked up a 1944 Studebaker M29 Weasel with the original running gear and motor. Paint job isn't that great but some of the original stenciles are visible and I'm going to try to remove the camo paint to read all the numbers on it. Currently runs like a top but looks like I'll be replaceing...

    Earth Day Cleanup

We had a short trip, on an island go figure, to help other outdoor clubs do an Earth Day cleanup. Since our 4X4 club has removed over a dozen abandoned vehicles we were asked if we could remove one more. We had a good turnout for the cleanup and a lot of trash was hauled away. Not many pics...

    Something new in the Yard

As far as the truck goes, it is still all there. 1500gal water tank, 200gal foam tank, dry chemical setup and as far as I can tell the pump is still operational. I haven't tested everything yet, it's on my to do list. It would make quite the off-road camper but would take alot of work to...

    Deuce Modifications For Better Streetability

Would one of the Ouverson style hubs also work on the rear axle? If they would the you could engage/disengage the rear axle when needed. I've seen guys do this on Jeeps that they flat tow and seems to work well for them.

Are these the heaters that come in the artic kit?

That looks like the same kind that's under the hood in my rig. It's for the arctic kit and one of these days I'll try to get mine running. There's also some plumbing that you'll need to do to hook it up. Jeff

New pics and something for Bjorn too.

How much room do you have between the deuce and the trailer for turning and maybe a little off camber if you go off road? I'm thinking of doing the same to mine down the road.

    Greetings from Kodiak Alaska

Hello all, I'm a proud new owner of a 1978 AM General M35A2. The fellow I bought it from says it has about 8000 miles since a new motor/tranny was put in. It has the arctic canvas on back, winch, hardtop, heater (needs work). Big thing is the wife likes it so it is now our portable moose...
