    spend the money on a 4" lift kit, and do it right...and safe.....i got 31s on two of my cucvs, and there is room for 33s with no lift:confused:

    Daily drive a CUCV?

    I have been daily driving an m1008 with m1009 axles under it for the better part of 8 yrs. I park it in the winter... I converted it to 12 volts, and made the glow plugs manual, and other than tightening up bolts that come loose, and general maintenance, I have not had any problems.

    ? what about having holes drilled in the new hub plate for the bolt pattern of the beadlock and sandwhiching it? you would still have to cut out the 10 lug pattern, but no welding required..

    i doubt the motor is seized. im going with the hardware on the clutch interferance. i had a m1008 sit for over eight years...without starting, or turning over...i just put a little oil down the cylinders, and it fired right up, and runs great
