    818 pics "defrosting"

it really wasn't that much snow, my pickup was in about a 3' drift, but the 818 was only in about 8 inches of snow, the 818 didn't have a problem pulling its own weight through the same snowdrift to get in front of my pickup also I would have used my deuce however I have taken the batteries...

    818 pics "defrosting"

I was trying to defrost the 818 in my shop and decided to take some pics, also I got to use it today as I got my f-250 stuck in a snow drift, the 818 pulled it out, but I was surprised how little traction the 818 has, I had to get a running start to yank the truck out, I thought I would be able...

Holy Snow / missing wireing harness

I hope to pick up a m127 trailer, and deliver bins of pumpkins with it, yes pumpkins, and also be able to pull my tractor to the tractor pulls, or whatever else I can pull that is to much weight for my f-350 and my 7 ton gooseneck.

Holy Snow / missing wireing harness

I just drove slow, nothing special. also I am missing the wiring that should go from the truck to the trailer, there is a spot to plug the wires in to which is next to the air lines, but no wiring to get to the trailer, I am guessing it is a coiled wire that has a plug on both ends.

Holy Snow / missing wireing harness

Wow, that made for an interesting pickup of my 818 yesterday, it took me about 5 hours to go from lansing to the Indiana border, and 3 hours to go the remaining 150 miles. all went well, except for having to stop every 15 to 20 miles to clean the wipers, they would get iced up and not clean the...

    New Guy with Questions

depending on what is wrong with the brakes it sounds like a fair price, with the lights did you have them turned on, it may sound silly, but you actually have to turn on the brake, and turn signal lights, as for the multifuel, I have really only used diesel in my deuce, but have read of people...

818 at lansing MI pickup Q.

I'm going down around through chicago, and planning to drive it home, also the guys climbing all over they are probably looking to resell the trucks, and if so I would assume that they would want to avoid at all possible any trucks with known problems, so they probably are gold to these people...

well, I'm buying an 818 from gl, at lansing, anyways, I have never been over to that site, and was just wondering what the site was like, is it fairly easy to find/get to, and to get in, any help from people who have been there is appreciated. The reason I have decided to ask this question is...

I better show some pics before I get the "this thread is worthless without pics" I have seen wreckers sell for around 10k, so it seems a little high, didn't look "great" to me also, if anyone has an extra 11.00x20 tire laying around and would like to sell it let me know, as the spare is gone.
