    Pedestal Mount Searchlight

    Came across a searchligt for a 3/4 ton .. probably mounted on the M201 ..does anyone have a pic of the pedestal that bolts to the drivers side fender for this light? Would like to fab a mount for the light. Any assistance would be appreciated!!!!!

    Thank You OF ... The plumbing is significant on these beasts .. had a couple of hours free this afternoon and evening ..Troy and I finished hooking up all of the lines into the air-horn, the clutch, throttle, and choke linkage, hi-low lever, emergency brake, front-wheel drive linkages...

    GD FYI: There is also a similar line bracket that fits on the bolt that bolts the generator mount to the block (rear bolt on Gen mount).. that bolt has a stud and a nut to mount the bracket which holds those two vacuum lines that tie into the frame rail on the drivers side. Pics of todays...

    Ghostdriver outstanding !!! I see we are at about the same place on the rebuild .. this is my 1st M37 and I am having a ball putting it together. I too make use of the tap and die set to clean up before attaching goodies.. saves lots of headaches :-D Looking forward to more progress reports...

    Chief, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I did OCS back in the day .. went in as a Infantry Platoon E6 (SSG) and your right .. they don't cut you any slack .. my OCS class started out with 100+ bodies .. we graduated 26 2LT's at the end of the course .. just depends on how badly you wanted that commission...

    Engine rebuild is complete... painted the block today and all of the peripherals (generator, starter, radiator shell, tranny, etc etc etc :-)) ... carb, fuel pump and distributor are rebuilt and cleaned and or painted ... painted the engine compartment of the M-37 and are planning to reinstall...
