Another Wheel and tire fit question

They are the military ones. I was just lazy and used H1 for short. they are 16.5 I really like the big offroad tires, the better traction, lower RPM's at higher speed, the better look, and all. But this is getting to be a bigger hassle than I want.....so I will probably hit Les Schwab or...

    Broken troubleshooting link....

I did try that, it downloaded the link not the file. Could be user error . I read the glow plug threads, mine all have .9 to 1.1 ohms of resistance so I think the plugs are ok. No power on the green wires going to the plugs, so I guess it's the controler. I think I will just wire a...

Cool, I really appreciate the help you guys have given me. At this point I have yet to make a decision on which way to go. Like everyone, I want it all and for a cheap as possible. By all I mean I want, good traction, bigger than stock, good looking, good tread life and low noise for free...

Another Wheel and tire fit question

Crazy thought, what if you reverse the H1 wheels , that way they shouldn't need the 2" ($110 EACH ouch)wheel spacers. It would change the backspace to about 2-3 in I think (by looking at pics). Beside the valve stem on the wrong side, any other issues? I'm crazy, aren't I?

Another Wheel and tire fit question

60 some views.....and 1 reply? Come on guys, I know the knowledge is out there, please help. I need to get tires right away, I can get the H1 tires and wheels for $450 for a set if I do it quickly. Otherwise I end up going to Les Schwab or Americas Tire Co and spend much more for boring...

Another Wheel and tire fit question

Is this THE answer? If so great, if there are any other opinion's either in agreement or in opposition, I would appreciate them. Also, is there a Cheap lift, body I suspect, that would allow them to work without fender trim or spacers.

Another Wheel and tire fit question

I read many other threads, and there seemed to be some very contradictory info, or that's what I got out of it. My question, do the H1 8 bolt wheels with the 36" tire's fit on a stock M1008? The tires are the Good Year Wrangler R/T II. I have found some cheap and I must have new tires...

    Vinyl

There price for a full wrap STARTS at $3500  !!!!!! And is guaranteed for only 5 years. What kind of paint job can you get for that, and shouldn't it last longer than 5 years? I would like to see one done that way (digital in paint) though.

    STARTER WOES

Good job getting it fixed!!!! Go have fun in it BEFORE you put it up for sale and enjoy the fruits of your labor. IF you must put it up for sale, ask for more than it is worth, not way too much though.;-) You want a few tire kickers to look so the wife thinks you are trying.:-D good luck!

    Cucv starting procedures

Welcome to the madness! The glow plug controller often has issues, do a search for that there are enough threads already out there. Also which CUCV did you get. 1008 (Blazer), or the 1009 (Truck)? My 1009 does not have a glow plug light (that I have found). You may need to change the fuel...

    leaky filter base

Please forgive the new-guy question, The $50 square filter is a fuel heater too? I live in Sacramento California, it may drop below 32 degrees F just 2-3 times a year here. Do I need the expensive "heating filter"? Thanks Guys, Jeff

    Another fuel filter question :)

Thanks, If no one else has any input I guess I will just pull it and take it up to Napa. Any ideas if I will run into any fuel problems (ie. introduce air into the system) if I just plug the lines when I pull them off the filter.?
