Haha thanks gimp  I got one more question though, if you guys didn't need a deuce(like me) I mean didn't live on a farm, have a business that you could use it in, would you still buy one? I mean they look like you could have a freckn blast in one, and I won't even start about the...

City or in town dwelers help convince non-believers

Thanks for the info, I also have both my cars under my parents name using their insurance(one of which is a 500hp mustang) and I just pay my parents what I owe them. Without that I wouldn't be able to drive both, so the deuce would be under my parents insurance as well. Which shouldn't be too...

City or in town dwelers help convince non-believers

Same here, I mean No offense, but that is exactly what my original question was "where do people with limited storage space put a deuce" or any other big item for that matter. People have offered some pretty good ideas that I'm going to try(before I get the truck) and others say I can't afford...

    Converting a non-winch to a winch truck

At first I ws only looking at this truck because it was really cheap(atleast in my mind) at $3000 and i'v been talking to the guy and it sounds like it's the real deal. The more and more you guys say you don't use your winches just makes me want it even more! But I have one major problem: no...

City or in town dwelers help convince non-believers

Hello, i'v always wanted a deuce since I saw a m49a2 out back of the city building when I was about 8. Well now I'm 19 and I have a chance to get a m35a2, but I still live with my parents. Needless to say they really don't like the idea, dad said "if only we had more room" so I could probly get...

Anybody ever try putting an old Detroit diesel in a 725

From what the add on CL says it doesn't have any rust, all stock, needs a paint job, and interior needs to be either redone or just put back in

    Converting a non-winch to a winch truck

Hello, I don't have a deuce yet but I found one on craigslist that's pretty cheap, only problem is it doesn't have a winch. Personally I think any car or truck that is 14,000 LBS, and is 6 wheel drive should have a winch haha. So can it be done, if so how hard is it too do? Thanks

Anybody ever try putting an old Detroit diesel in a 725

Well my dad is a diesel mech. And has rebuilt more detroits than i'v ever seen, and he was kinda saying the same thing about the oil leaking. His exact words being "if they arnt leaking oil then there not running right" but he still thought it would be a neat swap though. Also the guy wants...

Anybody ever try putting an old Detroit diesel in a 725

Ok thanks everyone, buy the sound of it I'll probly just wait till I have room for a deuce because the guy wanted way to much(in my mind) for the m715. You see right now I don't have the room for something like a m35a2 and that is what I really want(you know, diesel, multifuel, big, powerful...

Anybody ever try putting an old Detroit diesel in a 725

Hello, I found a '67 715 on craigslist(haven't looked at it) and the guy said it runs good, and just needs a few things to be top notch. My problem is it's gas and I would really like a diesel. I figured an old detroit would be pretty different. I don't even know which model detroit would even...

What can a multi fuel deuce run on

I am completely new to MV's and I like the idea of running a deuce on WMO, because I can get tons of it for free. But what I don't know is do you have to mix it with diesel, or can you just filter it and put it in the tank. Also can you post a list of what is safe to run in the deuce and also...
