6.2 to 727 adapter??
Well more like a dog for a small mule.. 6.2's are cheap and I have 4 of them, plus have more torc and do just fine in the CUCV's. Tweak the pump a little dont over rev it and away you go.. I figure with stock tires and the 4:10 gears it should be a good combo falling right between the M1009 and...- citizensoldier

I am kicking around the entire power pack swap but to be honest I would just like to put a 6.2 in it and run the 727/203 until they blow up and then do the power pack swap. Its not going to be a quick swap with redoing all the brackets and trying to get drives shafts made and yada, yada, yada...- citizensoldier

Who makes or where can I find a adapter plate to hook the GM 6.2 diesel to the Dodge 727 trans? The 318 is headed for the bottom of the nearest lake.. Much better for a artificial reef than moving a 7700lb M887.. I have 6.2's growing all over the yard so seems to be the way to go for me. Plus...- citizensoldier
