The Steel Soldiers 2nd Annual Wounded Warriors Fund Drive

I think we should make it last longer. Start fundraising in January and end it in December. I think that would give more folks an opportunity to donate.

    Pyle 24V to 12V converter

Yes, you need a switch because the converter is still drawing power from the batteries. Now its not much but after a long period of time along with weak batteries, it will drain them. I plan on adding a converter to my 923 but I plan on using the battery switch to power it. I plan on splicing...

New here, thinking about buying an M1009

From my own personal experience with MVs and the fact that I'm not very mechanically inclined, you souldn't be worried or intimidated. They are good to learn and tinker on. With the wealth of knowledge and help from here along with the TMs, you will do fine. The problem that you will run into...

It just depends as far as rebuild goes. I would prepare for the worse. Do a search on here because there are a lot of recovery threads along with lists of what you will need and what to expect. Like everyone has said, study the TMs, especially the -10.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Soldier "B" and I replaced the leaking heater core with a replacement from Autozone. I did purchase and install some weatherstripping around where the heater core and damper are. I should get a good seal there. I also bought some new batteries since I have been using old suspect batteries.

Good looking rig!!!! Your decoder ring is in the mail :jumpin: Sorry that I didn't get a chance to swing by and check it out during this trip home. I was busy with a job interview, working on the 09, and hanging out with the family. I'll be back in 2 weeks and I will make it a point to come...

Trip to BFR Metals out of NW AR (anyone wanna go)

Wow!!! I have been wanting to take an excursion out there for a while. I've tentatively planned on running by this summer when I head back to Arkansas from Oregon. How long are you planning to be gone and when? I'll be back in Arkansas from March 12th until the 25th. If you go during that...
