    NEED CCKW bed measurment

I have put together a set of drawings for the front panel of the Chevy 1-1/2 ton all steel bed. They were measured directly from the front panel of my truck. Perhaps it would be easier to have the parts fabricated, than to try and hack together the panel from a completely different box. The...

    1945 Craigs List, Minnesota

I asked for and received pictures for this truck. The only statement I question is "in great shape"... It has more rust than what I would consider a truck in "great" shape. That said, it appears to have most or all of the typically missing little bits that can be hard or impossible to find...

Ft Collins, Co pick-up, insp, haul

MWMules. I may have a source for a replacement bed for your truck. I know of a salvage yard about 2-1/2 or 3 hours NW of you. The last time I was there, they had a number of beds stacked out by their north property line. They don't usually move their stuff very quickly (one man operation)...

    My new G506?

Yep, in fact I bought my replacement fenders from Kevin Kronlund. I also played a part in locating his M26 tank transporter truck and trailer that he's done such a great job restoring. Both parts originally came from the estate of a house mover out by Hastings,Nebraska.

Hey, it's good to hear from you again! I thought it might be you. Do you still have the 2-1/2 ton truck that you bought for tires? I seem to remember it had some kind of huge contraption on the back?? BTW, parts I'm still looking for include: floor board left hand inner fender (lower...

    My new G506?

The rolling chassis and bed are at a local welding shop, having some repairs done on the box, and some of the scabbed reinforcements removed from the frame, escecially near the winch extensions. The cab, motor and transmission are in my garage. I am currently working on the transmission. I have...

    My new G506?

I've thought about "repro"-ing the bed. I do a lot of CAD work, and have a few really good fab shops in town. I have to imagine that cost would be prohibitive. at least I'm centrally located, and could ship to either coast.
