Using my SEE for real work

I second everything speedwobble said. A little disconcerting using the momentum technique at first, having the arm coming at you, but once you get the technique down, you’ll be impressed with yourself. Seems counterintuitive to “push” it at the last second, but I works. Also, having the BH...

SEE Transmission not operating in any forward or reverse gear

Good to know! Sounds much easier than pulling the cab. As you can SEE (pun intended), 9 months later and I still haven't gotten around to it

Flu 419 Lost all gears in intersection

Turkrypty, Same exact thing happened to me when I pushed clutch in to slow down around the yard. I feel good clutch engagement and the Pto engages and works the backhoe. I think (hope) its just an air solenoid, however, have been told that necessitates pulling the FROPS and the cab. Not having...

SEE Transmission not operating in any forward or reverse gear

Any ideas on where to access the solenoid?

SEE Transmission not operating in any forward or reverse gear

That's sounds...expensive. So no one thinks it could be the air shift solenoid?

SEE Transmission not operating in any forward or reverse gear

Yes, I need the clutch to engage pto and the backhoe works ( along with the front bucket, which doesn't need the clutch). That's why I thought it may be the air shift solenoid. Didnt pickup on any noise when it stopped. Just pushed in clutch to slow down, released and no movement.

SEE Transmission not operating in any forward or reverse gear

I was idling in in the back yard with a bucket of dirt and pushed the clutch in to slow down as I approached where I was going to drop. When I released the clutch, nothing happened. I can shift into any gear position without the clutch

SEE Transmission not operating in any forward or reverse gear

I had to read that thread before I posted. It is my understanding that bushing replacement is for difficult or non shifting. I have no problem engaging each gear.

SEE Transmission not operating in any forward or reverse gear

I can shift into all the gears. Clutch works. Able to engage the backhoe

SEE Transmission not operating in any forward or reverse gear

I'm hoping it's the air shift solenoid. Do I have to tilt the cab to access it? Is it # 28 in the below diagram? The front bucket and backhoe work without any problem. Just have to push/pull it to the site to dig a hole.

    R.I.P.--73M819--Ron Harris

I used to think of Ron a couple times a week when I'd go out back and walk past BART. Moved BART to the front lawn so I can remember him everyday. Bart and I went out for a drink last week in honor of Ron. Diet soda for me, 150 gallons of diesel for Bart. My wife and I were honored to have...

    M998 HMMWV Frozen Tailgate Hinges

He can't help it. Most orthopedic surgeons think and talk this way...even the bad ones.

Avoid Titan 32” thumb on the FLU419

I've had good results with the 32" heavy duty I bought back in 2/17 from Titan (except for a smashed thumbnail). I believe I bought on someone's recommendation from here.
