    Clutch and flywheel questions

As I am new to this I need some advice. The bolts to this seal housing came out with almost no force. Meaning they were more or less loose. There was no gasket behind this. Does it need a gasket that is missing or does it go back without. It was done before my time and after military so I...

    Clutch and flywheel questions

Checked oil level today and yes even though I seem to loose quite a bit of oil after running. My oil level is increasing not decreasing. Fuel in oil. Will bypass FDC as soon as new rear main and clutch is installed. Hopefully that is it. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Clutch and flywheel questions

Yes Sir thank you. There is a slight white chalk mark left above one bolt hole. I did read enough to mark it because of the "only one way" it goes back. I also marked the side of the housing so I can make sure the right hole lines up. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Clutch and flywheel questions

Cleaned up best he could. Said unless I'm going to NASCAR the cracks shouldn't be any issue. I'll keep an eye out for a spare for down the road. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Clutch and flywheel questions

I have changed clutches before on pickups but never rear main seal. May be a dumb question but. Do I need to drain oil before taking seal out? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Clutch and flywheel questions

Thank you sir. I should find out today. Did find a crack from surface to inside middle of inner lip. How do you feel about bypassing FDC on these things? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Clutch and flywheel questions

FDC was never bypassed. I can run my truck to town and back with no leaks but when I turn it off I get a puddle from oil pouring out like it was holding it. I have not noticed fuel in the oil. Doesn't mean it's not happening though. Should I bypass FDC and get pyrometer? This truck was...

    Clutch and flywheel questions

Reason I was asking about bearing is this TM pic saying throwout Bering behind clutch plate. The plate in this pic is the new one I have. Old one is the solid plate. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Clutch and flywheel questions

Lots of cracking in flywheel I was in the process of changing main seal. I ordered a clutch kit from C&C for a deuce but the clutch plate sent is the one with the little pads not the full circle as shown does that matter? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Clutch and flywheel questions

What in the world? This looks nothing like my TM. Is there supposed to be a bearing behind clutch plate as in TM? And this is clutch disk that was in it and holy cow does this mean I need a new flywheel as well? Deep cracking. Crap. Anyone got a spare? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Suitable generator for home backup?

Always get more than you think you need. You can always have extra when you don't need it, but it's hard to get more when you don't have it. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Cutting an M105 bed?

Anyone got pics of using stock location with 395's. I can pick it up but the wheel is inset so the bolts will not connect to secure it. need to see what others have done in this situation. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Cutting an M105 bed?

I didn't have the hoist at the time I built it. Was an afterthought of....Oh crud these tires weigh a ton how do I change a tire and load the spare if I need to. I like Hanks Deuce but the bed is getting a little small when cutting it down. I will measure and move things around in the morning...

    Cutting an M105 bed?

Yes I was thinking of leaving the pillars. Just the top and bedside in-between would be cut to accommodate end if tire rack and a tire on the hoist would slip right in. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

    Cutting an M105 bed?

Would it hurt an M105 bed too much structurally to cut out this portion of the bed? A 900 series tire hoist will fit right between the pillers placed on the bed itself. Any thoughts? Need a spare out here and my bed. Thirty Mile drive just to get to town and back home. Any Ideas are...
