    i picked up a 24 volt wheelchair battery charger at my parts store for@20.00 put it on to warm the batts before i have to go out plowing.

    yes you can do it . as long as you don't run high speeds ( yeh right ) the tires rubbing together won't cause any heat problem.

    if the clutch has enough free play the throwout bearing shouldn't make any noise once you get going. like stretch says, once you start moving don't use the cluth,plan you're stops ,so you don't have to stop .

    take the weight off the front again and grease the upper and lower king pins. have someone turn the wheel back and forth while you're putting the grease to them. i mean GREASE THEM.

    look up hunter heaters and you get find some decent size heaters for construction equipment. esp. catterpillar equip. all are 24 volt too.

    i,ve been using the 2 batt.setup for the past 5 years and no problems yet. watch ,they'll call me to go plowing and it won't start.ha ha

    mine was leaking too. i put silicone on a screw and stuck it in the hole, no more leak.
