M35a2-3 Fuel Pump, Deal or no deal..?

I wanted an honest opinion on this fuel pump. I found a source for $50.00 each. There is a comparison picture to the standard pump. I like the bigger pick up area with the stainless steel mesh. Looks like a plug and play to me.

Multifuel Engine life - the facts from Uncle Sam

M816, In your opinion whats the RPM hi point that is safe for the engine for road trips..? When i log miles I try and stay between 21-2200RPM no higher. Every once in a while I will look down and see 2500 then I back off back down to 22. Thats how I drive anyway.

Multifuel Engine life - the facts from Uncle Sam

My 2 centavos is this: The oil is the life blood of any engine, keep the oil full and clean and operate the equipment the way it is supposed to be operated and there should be minimal maintenance expenditures.

I have been running about 90% ATF and the balance in Diesel Fuel. I just went through a full tank this past week and it averaged out to be 9.43 MPG. If my info is correct the ATF has a tad bit higher BTU rating over UMO.

The magnet idea on the filters is a different one. I have a few neodymium rare earth magnets from a torn down wind turbine. Do you think if I used 3-4 of them on each filter it would make any difference at all or just plop them in the bottom of the storage tank...? They would naturally attach to...

Welcome. Your in good company around here. Don't worry about the extra wire tie strapped to the one plugged in to the temp sensor. Thats an extra in the harness for a MEP003. They are interchangeable.
