I have not done the Deuce as of yet but when I do I will leave the transmission cover plate cut to remove and under the removable rubber mat. I am consternating on the 1028 first then this summer I will do the deuce. Good luck and if I can help out in any way just ask...K Don

I used FatMat. I would lay it out then cover with a thick mil rubber mat for a Deuce. Here is a link to what I did and the work is still in progress, I am waiting for the factory stamped out carpet, black in color...
