I've been able to check a few things off my to do list lately. When we took the deuce to the dez last time, I brought along 5 gallons of diesel, 5 gallons of gas, 5 gallons of water and my small generator. Because there MIGHT have been 3 boys riding in the back for 500 miles I had to take the...
CA historical isn't that hard or that expensive. Turn off the caps and do a search. If you have any questions, just PM me I'll be happy to walk you through it.
Still this hobby is cheap compared to other motor vehicle hobbies. There are muscle cars that need full resto worth well over 40k. The ammount we pay for a good running deuce or 5 ton wouldn't buy you a period corect set of tires and wheels on some cars.
This hobby is CHEAP even at it's...
I think it depends a lot on the unit turning them in. Same in the Navy - did things one way on the Connie and another on the Nimitz - even dealing with the same gear.
:lost: I thought Darrall was Grounded? Don't sweat it Gimp, I'm sure you did the best you could in a bad situation. There is no way to deal with him and not come out looking bad or broke. Or BOTH.
I drove my truck off of Barstow in April with the fluids FULL. Added a few ounces of DOT5 just for the heck of it. Every truck I have ever previewed at Barstow had fluids in them. Every time I go there I see trucks driven off and trucks driven on to trailers.
Installed mine last night. $36.00 from Amazon for everything. Painted them up tan and looks great. I accidently tossed the plastic wedge shim that goes under the arm when it goee into the blade adapter away. Me and the boy spent a 1/2 hour with the trash can dumped doing a grid search. Ended...
Luckily my pack is new and still fairly small. They are all new scouting familys so I stepped in as Cubmaster/adviser for at least a year until they get up to speed. They usually tag along on stuff the troop does. At our Christmas Light Parade we used the M105 as our float and put hay bales...
Barrman/Green_gator - good points and I have shot emails to my committee chairs (pack/troop) so they can look into it. Give them something to do for their "hour a week". We might already be covered with signed releases. We may do things differently in SOCAL, I honestly don't know, but I'm...
I've never heard that before. I have thousands of pics up on my website (summer camps, hikes, etc) and our Pack/Troop have thousands more up on theirs. I should probably have the committee chairs look in to this. Thanks.
Wasn't trying to bash you Capt Thin Skin. You asked if everyone was reading all the posts and I said NO and told you why. Limited mentally? Seriously? Is that all you can come up with? LMK when you have a better insult than that.
Next time, don't ask if you can't handle the...
TM - I honestly CAN NOT read 90% of what you post so I skip it. No caps, limited punctuation, no paragraphs, etc. Not trying to bag on you man but you asked.
Use my deuce in Scouts all the time. Campouts, parades, troop/pack meetings, even Roundtables. The committee loves to see our troop banners on the sides of my truck.
I bought one CUZ I CAN.
Too many things are getting so YOU CAN'T, even if you wanted to.
Besides, I spent more on the transmission in my Chevelle than I did on the whole truck. Can't beat that.
