The unit was hot for 3 hours and I did not smell anything unusual. The paint did not come off on the inside. Good Point. I always felt that HEAT was an excellent sanitizer. That being said the interior should be pre heated for 3 hours to sanities before use. Makes sense.

I would go with a M 1028, its made to carry a heavy load, 5/4 is a 1 &1/4 ton truck. Easy to work on and easy to drive.2cents

Mine has a 4" suspension lift, they used aluminum blocks, The blocks are green mil spec. I doubt they are anything else that normal blocks.
