    Allison Transmission issue

I find that I can maintain speed better if I shift the transmission manually in the M927 when pulling hills. I'd check all the adjustments and the fluid change might be an option. Is there an Allison repair shop close by that can give you some insight?

    WWI era Swiss Mule Cart

When I was in Germany I went to a lot of sites that still had fighting emplacements and in a few locations you could still see battle damage. I would look at them and wonder how it was there when WWII was going on. The Kaserne I was stationed at had several underground levels that had been...

If you are that close preview the trucks. As stated above the deuce supply is getting thin.....a lot of units waited to turn in the junkers so they did not have to turn them in with BII and in running condition. A lot of the equipment in the LA National Guard and local Army Reserve units...

    Tank Driving Business?

I was in an armor unit in Korea. I watched those poor bastages busting track in the motor pool (on the M1 Abrams).....it is not a job for the faint of heart or weak of muscle. If you sling a track it is going to be in the worst possible place to repair it. Tank track is not light for obvious...

931 air filter relocation. Possible? where would you move it?

You might consider the way they are mounted on some of the big semi's. On either side of the cab out front. Screws up aerodynamics but since the 931 has the streamlining of a concrete block it's not an issue anyway.

M936 Commercial Insurance and tags?? (I have searched)

One of the reasons I dropped my M816 (the money pit) was due to the insurance. I had a farm policy through Progressive and told my agent it was a "boom truck". It cost me over 1200 a year to keep straight liability on it. When I showed her a picture of the truck she said they would write...
