    M105 questions

I would offer a (uneducated) guess that there was something mounted in there at one time that required a very stable base. Units often made field modifications to equipment to make it safer or more user friendly.

Roof mounted A/c on a hard top?

What about one of those units that go on front of the big van trailers. I scrapped three off the one I have. One could be secured in the bed of the truck (deuce or 5 ton) and be powered off the stock alternator or an additional one if needed. The cool air could be ducted to the cab. As mentioned...

I gots brand new fuel tanks for it and your other rustbucket....but putting them new fuel tanks on "TOWDULLED" would be like putting a teddy on Janet Reno. (let that vision sear into your retinas)

    looking for M35A3 wheels

Original rims are hard to find....and pricey when they do show up for sale. You might do better to find aftermarket ones. SS member OD Iron did carry them and there are others that can fab them up. Wehring out in Wexas had some awesome ones on a bod deuce that he brought to the LA rally. He...

HUMMMMMMMM..........my 5 ton wrecker is insured with Progressive...it is a commercial policy but since I have farm tags on it and it is not for hire the rate is decent. My agent is well aware of what it is but I am not sure if she made it clear to Progressive that it was a military vehicle...

    Deuce Bus...

Think pontoons (or fighter plane drop fuel tanks) strapped to the side. You could haul them on a trailer and attach them before you go into the water. You would have to come up with a foolproof way to keep water out of the diffs. "REDNECK DUKW" OH OH OH!!!!!! I just remembered....there are...

Heat nuts......take a candle and touch it to the nut and let wax melt all over it...the heat will allow the parrifin to be sucked up in the threads.....let it sit overnight and try it the next day with the impact and max air you can put to it. "If it's stupid and it works, it ain't...
