Most of these trucks spent their entire lives outside until thy were purchased by a private owner. The point about salt is valid. If you can afford a building or a lean to the old girls would appreciate the cover. :driver:

Great project , we pulled m-100 trailers with mighty mites when I was in the Corps in the 60`s. Most of these trailers have been outside most of their lives, lucky to be as good shape they are in. I got an m-416 trailer free when I bought one of my mites. Got over $800 in blasting, paint...
My 1952 Studebaker m-35 gets 7 mpg at 45 mph. Love this truck, hard to start when hot. Installed electric fuel pump, rerouted gas lines away from block, spacer under carb, add lead substitute still problems . Wait 30 min. and starts right up, starts good cold, think it is this unleaded gas...
