YUCK! He did spend time in Korea! I heard he even wrecked a HEMTT there. Something about a four foot fat midget gal and her foot getting stuck in the steering wheel or something. We'll probably never know, cause Wreckerman blamed it on the butter bar that got out of ocs a week ago! LOL!
Big thanks to WM for the trailer delivery! Worked out great. It was nice to finally meet him and have lunch. He was a little hot when he rolled into Mt. Vernon. Elmo was tired too. All in all a great trip. :shock:Wreckerman rides again!
I guess this video qualifies.... I was out on a shake-down run with the deuce today. Did some PM and took the truck to the John Deere dealership to get some parts for a tractor. 60 miles round trip and she ran great after having sat for a month! Good to get her back up to temp and ran for a...
Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it. I'm going to start looking for parts right now. If I can find a good takeout motor, Might go that route. Who knows. This will be a good summer project.
No worries.... It is only a truck. I have my family and my health! Everything else is a bonus! My four year old thinks my "green trucks" are funny! Can't beat that with a stick!

Seriously.... i made a mistake... I just wasn't thinking and was taking a short cut. Nothing more, nothing less. Lesson learned. Price paid. I just thought that everyone else would benefit from hearing about my mistake. Maybe it will save someone from learning it the hard way. I do learn quicker...
So.... Here I am today, working in the m1009. It's nice and sunny and 75 out. Light breeze. Dogs rolling around in the grass. I decided today was the right day to put the spin on fuel filter on the 1009. That was a pretty easy process. Everything went pretty smooth. Thanks pawnshop for the parts...
The pigtails are going to be different on them. You are almost going to have to have a military tractor pick it up.
The guy that was going to haul it had an 818. Right now I so mad, I just don't care. It can stay there and let GL sell it again. It would be cheaper in the long run for me. I...
Well... I had a guy going to do it. He is an SS member. He backed out. This is the second and last time I trust someone on this site to do a job they say they will do. He told me he didn't have the money to pay for gas to get it and get it to me. I'm not sure why someone would agree to do a job...
Do yourself a favor and read all the GL threads as well as the information on the GL site. Save yourself from getting the dreaded "Use the search" comment! There are a lot of very good threads on GL. 8-)
I just picked up a M915 from there today. Mike is a great guy and will help you out. He isn't there all the time, so call ahead. Make sure your nice to him no matter what. He is one of the really good guys!
