Research for lift for my M1009 454 complete 650-700 lbs, Detroit 6.2 complete 650-700. I'm going with tough country HD 4" should handle engine weight.

Figured out could buy two sets of tough country vs BDS system not cheap but best build for the funding !

Had over 1/4 tank of fuel. Before I purchased my M1009. Supposedly the tank was removed, cleaned out and electric in line fuel pump installed along with filter. Twice now it has shut down, possibly overheating plus filter clogged. After researching info on here going to replace electric pump...

What type and brand of pump and filter did you use? Have one now but. Filter clogged then pump got hot and quit!

Again impressed with design and function of this apparatus please advise on its availability and when I can purchase a set !!!

Thank you Thank you for info. Checked into it measured spring perches 14b came off 3500 long bed measured same as M1009 I have Purchased rolling frame with axles, springs and hardware inc brakes done a lot of measurements to see about fit

Can you swap axles with springs from ton single wheel 14 b to an M1009? understand that using rear springs from M1009 for front springs?

Looks like a well done M1009, Just getting started on mine due to medical issues , looking at the winch set up have the info on mount to use like it well, looks like brush guard supposed to be set up, again WELL DONE !!!

Started with same type M1009. Came from the south and was another's project before going to a Duece to restore !

That's what they do plus control high low range ran 87 dewranglered Jeep 10 years twisted few shafts did snap one rear axle but twin sticks worked great !

I will use two sticks. Had them in a dewranglered 87 Jeep T18 300tc 9" ford Detroit locked rear dana44 up front. Worked great towed a trailer with ton load up trail in mountains NC twisted rear shaft shifted rear neutral. Front only low range drove it back out !

Thanks have been considering an NP 205 over the NP 208 since changing to 14b and 60' plus better driveshafts

Yes looks great. Getting ready to tackle this job myself with assistance, 60 front 14b rear 4:10 gears, agree should have been factory !
