I was crossing a small road ditch into a harvested wheat field ..... I think that back tire got pinched in the fender and when I accelerated I heard the noise of that axle shaft shearing off. Thanks for the info on the axle year and size. I will replace wheel bearing while I'm at it...
I just replaced the fuel return lines..... with a fuel line made for a chainsaw...
it works for now. After all it is fuel line. With the same diameters as the old. But should I run into any problems down the road ??????

*** I'm not sure about that LMC headlight harness. It's not all that noticeably brighter to me.
In the last month I've also installed a new IP, glow plugs, and valve cover gaskets.
I'll check the vacuum lines to the shift modulator And I'll loosen the 3 bolts and see if moving the pump left or right helps anything. But for now, I do have it lined up on the mark Other than the timing and the idle. What kind of adjustments can be made? Oh also. I did loosen the...
So I replaced the injector pump. no more leaks. But now it's vibrating at idle way more than before and it's shifting to early....... Any ideas on what's causing this??
I replaced a leaky injector pump a couple days ago. fixed the leak. But now it's running goofy.

What do u mean by " hot start". ? My fuel pump is getting a little messy. No puddle from that yet. But I do have one from the injector pump. With the starting, I do get a loud "screech" from time to time. Us that a hot start ?
