MEP-803A wiring to a 50 amp plug (several questions)

Next week I'm getting a 200 amp manual transfer switch wired into my house with a 50 amp plug. I have a 50' 50 amp cord for my supply. We are going to make up a whip from the generator lugs to a 50 amp plug we will mount to the trailer fender. What wires go into which lugs on the generator for...

    MEP-803A

Thanks for your guidance. It all sounds straight forward. I'm not exactly the go-to when it comes to electrical and electrical troubleshooting. I just bought one of the kill-a-watt meters off Amazon. If I find the meter is swinging with the gauge and the reading is correct what direction should...

    MEP-803A

Mep-803a new purchase without filters/fluids and batteries

I found it on the schematic attached in the thread. I ordered it from the part number listed. The wing nut has a gasket formed to it which keeps a seal around the mating surface of the filter which I could have probably done without but want to play it safe.

Mep-803a new purchase without filters/fluids and batteries

I just bought a 02' Mep-803a and I'm in the process of getting it ready to start. I'm missing the wing nut which secures the air filter inside the housing. Does anyone by chance know the replacement part number or what thread size the stud is?
