Just ordered up a bunch of junk from Erik. Nice guy and helpful. I was able to get the switch for $50. I bought a filter set, motor trans and fuel, a couple wiper blades, LED conversion rear tail lights for my 101a3 trailer. I'll swap out the lens from tail lights of the trailer to the...
Here's some pics of the picked-parts.
I see some other holes in the dash now that I'm going through the photos. Can anybody point out what was there and are they A2 specific switches/accessories?
Well I went out to Barstow to pick up my trailer and take a look at the a3.
She's perty!
A few things I noticed. What ever one of you MFr's that is stealing stuff of these truck in the yard, and think others property is your person pick a part junk yard has another thing coming. I found the...
That's not a high jack, I'd like to know too.
Rusty, is that a complete bench package that I have in those pictures above or should I start looking for some pieces?
You give up your right to a traffic court, and Judges are not so nice to commercial guys who screw up. DUI with a commercial license and you're out of the drivers seat in anything for quite a while. The rules change as soon as you step in with a commercial license.
That's just not true. Motorhomes fly around all day long over 10k GVW, and some of them have tag axels giving them 8 wheels on the ground. These guys don't need additional training or licensing.
BTW, if these trucks were considered "commercial" DOT cops would have a field day checking over every antique piece of safety equipment on them. They have a field day at the entrance to the local dump when pickups come in over loaded.
With reguards to the A35, are your tires properly...
Carrying around kids and parents in the back of the troop transport with historic plates would not be considered Commercial use, correct?
Carrying around Prom kids who paid you to act like a Limo service for Prom would be considered Commercial use, correct?
Carrying around a 750 gallon load of...
Do I have to install seat belts in the back if I want to use those Troop transport seats in CA? I hope it's like a bus and nobody has to wear belts in the back.
My truck has complete Troop Transport seats right?
"I took pictures of the overhaul process and will publish a PDF on how to fix the CTIS and its operating principles. "
Not to hurry you along, but hurry up with that PDF, inquiring minds are drooling over here.
I noticed there are two of you guys over in my neck of the woods in Ramona, San Diego County.
Would you guys be up for a short 1-2 hour lunch get together at my ranch this weekend with your M35's. I'd be happy to throw some Salmon on the BBQ to get a couple of these beast in my yard to drool...
Thanks for all the advise so far gents.
Insurance is asking what year it is. I don't know how to tell from the tags. Can anybody get the history on this beast for me?
Also, my EUC is in the first stages of being processed. I sent it in a couple days ago and revised yesterday. I guess I...
My EUC is pending. I don't know how long those take to clear. I won't turn away a helping hand, especially if you can give me a quick 101 on how to operate it and some quick ins and outs. Are you familiar with the beasts?
I'd trade you dinner at outback for a hand.
What size socket do I need for the lug nuts? I'll have my set but want to make sure I have a big enough socket.
My Aluminum Craftsman Jack isn't going to cut it. Any recommendations on a good bottle jack that will fit in one of the compartments of the A3? I'd like to leave it in there for...
I live in San Diego.
@ goodguyz, so your the one that cost me an extra grand :). Did you happen to preview the beast before the bidding opened? I wasn't able to get out there and ended up bidding on it blind. Did you see anything else that I should he prepared for when I pick her up? Ill...
I'm guessing the CTIS will inflate her back up and I can drive off? Would I get so lucky. It sounds like a common problem.
Any tips any of you can swing me. I'm hoping its just an oring that I may be able to replace on the spot. Do they allow guys to wrench on vehicles on pickup? I'd...
