^^CORRECT. I have a civil blazer, its for the wires for the rear dome light that you have to disconnect before removing the cap. Unneeded for the CUCV, but still there because its the same cap as the civilian blazer.

Well there are no leaks anywhere on this truck. Its the first vehicle Ive ever owned that doesn't! But I'll definitely check out all the things you listed. When shes running Ill post a video!
