That statement doesnt apply to every state. In CA they use gross and gross combined at the time. I could legaly tow a 15k lb gross empty boat trailer with a ford ranger because the trailer would be about 1500 lbs and when put on the scales wouldnt be over gross combined
you can buy intercoms that have an input for a stereo, thats what we run in the sand rail, the only down side is price for those systems. The one in the rail with 4 head sets a head unit and a car to car radio was close to 2k dollars, but
other thing to think about is GM built these trucks with the front track a little wider for a reason, be it traction offroad (Ive been told that but doubt it) or (more of a consern) turning radius with the front leafs. just be careful if your bringing the front end in
wider rim in the back then the front will look as good as 2 different tire sizes, if your ocd about the track youd HATE that one Id think.
I dont know what the rims look like but why not just go buy a 2 new ones for the rear with what ever offset it takes to put the tread where you want it...
I know, its an old thread, sorry, but if you havent built anything yet, why use a bilge pump? why not use a "sea water pump" they are belt driven instead of electric
you said something about GM wheels, FYI the GM 16" truck wheels are 6.5 wide, however 285s mounted on them arent a big deal, Ive had 2 trucks like that and you see them running around all the time. just FYI
I could see that, not sure why since you need the heat to burn the fuel, but Im still LOST. what do the injector always return say 25% of the fuel to the tank? or is it pressure depended? thats whats baffling me
like I said by no means talking **** but now Im just curious. you couldnt put the rear duals up and the front duals on the lower deck? Im curious now more then anything. Or doing like Im saying would have put the duals on the edge of that deck instead of solidly on it?
all I do is load stuff on flat racks to go on a ship, nothing we load goes on the road, how ever Im curious why did you load it backwards on the lowboy?? couldn't you have had a lower over all height (probably didnt matter tho) and have everything plowing through the air in the direction that it...
I hear ya but it doesnt make sense to me, so I started this thread http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/71312-fuel-return-line.html so I don't take over your thread here, I should have just done that in the first place,
Sorry
Michael
well, I'm only starting this new thread cause I don't want to hijack Heavysteven, which I should have done in the first place, in( http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/71044-oil-leak-exhaust.html ) Heavysteven replaced his fuel return lines from the top of the injector, when I asked what it was...
