    is it possible to hot wire

    i am looking at purchasing an 1008 but the ignition switch is snapped off so we don't know if it runs. is there a way to hot wire it? or is it easier to replace the ignition key switch in the steering column? how would you replace the ignition switch?

    wow thanks guys for the input. i didn't even see that there WAS and alternate fuel forum on here. great info. I'm looking at the m1008, prob eventually add 4" lift and run 35 or 37" ssr radials. I know it's prob not the greatest selection for a DD but that's what i've always wanted.
