If you have the hubs unlocked and you still hear a clicking noise, then it almost has to be a bearing. The reason I say this is because with the hubs unlocked there is nothing else moving in the front end.

Mo Man, I am (to the chagrin of some folks) gonna use a 105 bed. I have it almost ready to mount. Just trying to find some oak for the runners. I think that if I build another one I will build a dumper or go with a 101 for a "shorty" look.

For a filter idea. Why not take a plastic inline fuel filter and cut one end off (to keep the dirt daubers from plugging the small opening) and just simply slip it into the dangling end of your vent.
