The 2 solenoids shown are for tank selection and return line selection.
When set to diesel it pulls from the diesel tank and returns to the diesel tank. When set to wvo it pulls form the wvo tank and returns to the wvo tank. When set to purge it pulls form the diesel tank and returns to the...
I've done 3 wvo conversions. I use a dual tank setup on them. Heating the wvo is key so it has the same viscosity as diesel. When the fuel is too thick you see power loss, stalling, filter clogging and worse. My brother snapped the shaft on the injector pump when he switched too early. At the...
They came on the truck. Funny thing tho, i have a vinyl cutter so i can do lettering or make whatever people want. I use it for truck lettering and doing names and numbers for my screen printing business.
All the lettering is vinyl so it will peel right off. Body is real clean and tight. The camo one has rust in the usual places. About the exhaust. Glass packs out the side. They started because one of the mufflers fell off one day. The whole side was kinda shot an i think it was like 800 for all...
Just got the green one. It had all the zombie stuff on it when i got it. It is an 84. The other is an 85 and has been my daily driver for 6 or 7 years. It has been converted to run off of WVO about a year and a half ago.
I think OD is .75. I was thinking it would be great on the highway with the 3.08 gears, unless there is a glaring problem like the engine not having enough power or something.
Ill try to pry the plate off tomorrow. I was going to go electric but the parts place had mechanical one in stock. the nut on the fuel line fitting stripped so i pulled the intake manifold so i could remove the hard line. Im just going to replace it with fuel hose.
I'm replacing the fuel pump in my 1009. The push rod feels like it is wedged against the mounting plate. Item 5 on 3-17 in tm-9-2320-289-20. Is this normal? I replaced one on a 6.5 before and it just slid out or was hanging there.
