I cleaned mine out with 3 or 4 pounds of 3/8 nuts with some gasoline and shook it on all sides and also took everything out of the tank so it wouldn't get beat up. I was surprised at how well it cleaned it up.

I have made several trailers out of the rear axle of Dodge Caravans. An MEP-002 or 003 aren't very wide so you wouldn't have to alter the width of it. If you can weld it might be a little cheaper than a trailer mounted unit.

There may be some small gas ones that are 1 phase. Unknown how good they work.
