Hi all,
I've seen hints here and there, but not anything definitive. I'm looking for new lug nuts for my M1009 (the previous owner had a mismatched set) but I can't seem to find anything indicating a definite size for the wheel stud. What I've found at NAPA and Autozone say it's a 7/16 -20 x...
My M1009 is an off road toy, so smaller tires are not an option. So eventually it will be regeared with beafier axles and likely a manual swap, which is why I say that I am indifferent towards regearing because it's already on the list for me.
Like I say, HP isn't the goal, torque is. If turning the right screws on the injector pump can get me 15-20 I'm happy. I'm a tinkerer by nature and like having thing to fart around with, so with the 6.2 I want it to be stock-ish and make upgrades where it's relevant to add performance or...
I know there isn't really much to be done for the 6.2, and it sort of "is what it is." Perhaps I'm misunderstood, I'm not looking to add a ton of power and break junk, I'm just wanting to know if there are little things that can be done to juice it up that don't necessarily hinder reliability
Same effect will be achieved when I granade my corp 10 bolts with the hwy 3.?? gearing and swap in a 14 bolt and dana 60 with 4.56's. Gearing isn't really an issue. I'm taking more about egine power.
Hi all,
I know this question has been asked before: "I want to add power to my J-code 6.2." I've looked at various threads and everyone seems to have the same answer, which is the Banks Sidewinder Turbo kit. Banks makes a great product, but I'm not quite sure a turbo is what I'm after as I'm...
Hello all, I'm new to the forum here and a new owner of an '86 M1009. Started and drove well when I bought it, but the starter just burned out, took it off and found a sticker saying "remanufactured in Mexico".
I want to avoid buying a cheapo starter, I want it to last for years and not leave...
