You might be right as I haven't seen any diagrams of any screen on the fuel filters. And no no I don't have any fuel leaks. I even uncovered the tank to check for leaks on that side...bone dry.

I read the trouble shooting. It's very basic. Things I had already checked. GMG had a post on their website stating a generator with the same issue...they stated to check the screens in the fuel filters and compression st the individual injectors. Someone else said to check a check valve...

Yes...a removable tarp. Was going to have one made to match the boat cover of the boat next to it. And having the original exhaust flap would keep the water out of the engine bay...without it not sealed around the opening.
