    ND to MS and back...

Leaving tomorrow morning for Biloxi, MS. Minot, ND to I-110 S - Google Maps I'll probably be stopping somewhere around Kansas City, for the night and continuing into St Louis and then points south. Trip home will be similar.

    recovering m871 with m818?

I'd offer to jack mine up and measure, Unfortunately It's against the wall, and just getting it off the truck was a few minutes. Not something I'm willing to do right now, packing for my trip and it's raining. King-pin is 46" off the ground, TM lists the landing gear extension at 14" max...

    M920 with M870A1

I think I need to stop by on my way north from Glen's...I suppose by then though you won't be playing in the dirt anymore.

    recovering m871 with m818?

They go down pretty far and you can always cheat with stacked wood. The jacks travel at least 12" to get to the ground. You take that space up with wood flats and easily gain additional height. Be sure to take pictures I've never seen an M871 on a M818 with 53's...LOL

    recovering m871 with m818?

The TM for the 871 specifies; When towing the semitrailer with the M818, the fifth wheel wedges on the M818 are to be in the locked-in (pushed in) mode for highway and secondary road use, and in the locked-out (pulled out) mode for cross country operation.

If you can't delete it you don't need it.

Like I said I'm playing devils advocate. I really don't care, I'm not a seller. I deleted my wanted ads because, A there a pain to manage and B they have the potential for a long run time. I was just trying to offer a suggestion or improvement to what you've already done. Which doesn't mean...

If you can't delete it you don't need it.

Yup just like other threads, which is sorta my point. The Mod's aren't concerned with dead threads just dead ads. Threads provide information which can be just as important as parts or product. I just find it irritating that there are rules like ad sites, moderation like ad sites and over...

I deleted my ads... I'll use another source until the site tools equal the strength of the moderation, in regard to classifieds.

    GL Jump starting.....

They may have tried to jump it before they drained the fluids and listed both on the ad. Certain ammo cans, popular sizes go for more. When you are talking hundreds, and most people seam to buy on GL like it's retail, the prices make sense. Personally I usually bid $1-3 per container as my...

If you can't delete it you don't need it.

Not to be the devils advocate but it would really easy if there was a tab or link of something on my user cp to MY ads. I understand I can search the forum for my user name, but... How does this effect wanted ads?

    Deuce GVWR ??

It's a money thing. There are more pick-up trucks per capita in ND than any other state in the union and the minimum registration is 10k (my post was for Trucks, pick-ups have other criteria). So by NDDOT records there is a ton more weight on the road which helps with funding. If you are...

    Deuce GVWR ??

ND registers trucks at 10000 lbs or double the unladen weight whichever is more. GVWR of my M35 is 27060lbs. I tried fighting it...I lost. Edit; out of the NDCC manual TRUCKS: 39–01–01 Subsection 45 and 88, 39–04–19 Subsection 2(b), 39–04–26, 39–12–05, 39-04-23 (NDCC) B. Minimum registered...

    American Coleman Tug

I've driven every MB-4 since the Coleman was in AD, Eagle, PSI, Entwistle, Wollard. My favorite is still the Entwistle but a lot of the attributes of the Coleman are the same. The plus on the Coleman was the rear bar control. All the others have linked hydraulic steering, the front and the...

    American Coleman Tug

Are the rears controlled by a bar under the steering wheel? That's still one of my favorite models of MB-4.
