ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Yes they require the split lock. The split lock still locks the axle nut as before. The Delta lock goes between the shims and the split lock. So you have axle nut, shims, Delta lock, split collar in that order. Xtra locking for those that want a more redundant system.

    Eco Hubs. Delta locks

Delta Locks are available for anyone looking for a more redundancy on the Eco Hubs install.. Delta Locks are simple to install and lock the axle nut to the differential housing splines. The stock shims should be left in place. This spaces the delta lock correctly. The split lock is still used as...

    Speed sensor transfer case.

Yes they are expensive! I did find some NOS for 500.00. Working on getting a good used one now.

    Speed sensor transfer case.

Yes I’ve went thru everything from the sensor all the way to the front bulk head connector. All good no cross feeding and carried enough amperage to light a Lmtv headlight. With the resistance difference I’m leaning toward a sensor. Thanks

    Speed sensor transfer case.

Thank you! I’ve checked the sensor and the resistance is way off compared to what it’s supposed to be and compared to my other truck. These things keep you busy!

    Speed sensor transfer case.

I’m looking for a used or new speed sensor for the output of the transfer case. (Easy to access under the access plate on the rear of the transfer case) Does anyone have the part number. I looked in the TM and didn’t see it listed? Thanks.

    Speed sensor testing.

Yes that was suspect also. I tested the harness all the way from the inside of the transfer case to the bulkhead connector. Not only resistance but made sure there was no cross connection between wires and made sure each wire would carry enough amperage to light a lmtv headlight.

    Speed sensor testing.

I will look at them carefully. Checked for corrosion and breaks none found. Also checked to make sure there was no shorts to other wires in the bundle and that the wires could carry current. So far the wires look great.

    Speed sensor testing.

Yes I pulled the speed sensor and measured it on the bench. It was 9.5 ohms. Measuring thru the pass thru on the second truck the speed sensor measured 271 ohms which is in range. My center diff solenoid also measures in the 3 ohm range.

    Speed sensor testing.

My 2001 m1078 a1 speedometer stopped working and locked into a gear. Tested the speed sensor and got 9.5 ohms at 70 degrees. My 2004 truck tested 271 ohms. Looks like I need an output speed sensor. The one located inside the transfer case. Has anyone tested the solenoid for c7...

    Transfer case help….M1078 2001

That would be great! I had mine in the shop today again. Checked the c7 coil and it seems to be very low impedance also. Checked voltage to the coil was a little over 26v idle in mode. Checked the top of the coil with a feeler gauge for magnetism, none. I didn’t have my scope at home but I...
