What a beast. The pre-select gearbox is a British design but used by the Czechs under license since before WWII. The Hetzer TD and 38 (P) tank used it as well,
I have owned three. The reliability was good and they were fun to drive and easy to work on but for serious off-road, the approach angles were terrible and we beat them to death.
It is a great motor but underpowered considering 14 gearboxes(!), all time 6x6, and the brakes and steering hydraulics are one with three pressurized accumulator bottles. The gearbox and clutch are the weakpoint for sure. Neat vehicle but really complex.
