Hi
Looking for a few quotes or recommend a shipper please
Truck runs and is ready to go
I live on Long Island but I figure it will be a lot easier to meet before the bridges
Truck is already registered and insured
Maybe quote to 11520 as well
Thank you in advance for your help
I have been seeing these on gov planet auction lately
One sold for $20k
They look really cool especially with a diesel
They have head and tail lights so I guess they can be used legally on street?
Looks like there is a 4 seater M1161 and a 2 seater w/ jump seat in back for 3rd person M1163...
I have a question about reg and insurance
I would want to register the truck as historical.
NYS requires vehicle to be over 25 years old, which I would be good with
But the weight, I read on this forum somewhere that you can't do historical on vehicles that weigh over 20k
Can someone please...
Thank you, that was the response I was hoping for
It would be nice to buy a truck from a business that could also do some upgrades and service before the truck even gets to me
BMY M925a2 with a soft top
My main hobby is boating, my boat has a pair Detroits, 8v71 twin turbos, but it was a project and 4 years later I am still working on it.
I don't want another project, I want something nice that I can maintain and upgrade and fix when things break.
I definitely don't have deep pockets lol
But I know from experience, for a person like me, it would be better investing more up front for a truck in good condition rather than a project
Another member posted about their new truck purchase, it was from I believe a place called Midwest Military...
Hi
I have looked at a few 5 tons via private sellers and didn't really find anything I liked
Govt auctions wouldn't be for me
Anyone buy a truck from C&C or use their shop service?
From their website it looks like they have some nice trucks
Any feedback ?
Thank you
Fixer uppers always cost a lot more than one that has been somewhat upgraded already
Just for the wheels, tires and adapter plates, wouldn't that be around a $3-5K to purchase ? (am I way off with those numbers ?)
Hi Folks
Just a quick update, I put these trucks on the back burner for a bit
After searching this site and getting the "bug", I questioned whether those trucks are the right move for me
I would want to upgrade to oversized single wheels and tires, power steering, winch and other goodies
I...
Yes no doubt, Cummins are very good motors
and I am sure they wouldn't leak nearly as much oil compared to my dirty 2 stroke diesels in my boat
i will report back with info on the tranny
and more pics!
The one with the trailer on top looks to be in better condition
The other has rot in fender and all around the hardtop
These are pictures of the good one
Detroits would be great, I have a pair of twin turbo 8v71's in my boat
I had to go to my friend's shop before so I took some more picks
Looks like turbo Cummins
