    Steelsoldiers’ BIG M1152A1 HMMWV Project!!

So if we are not using the trucks in extreme conditions and high heat, Why is it necessary for an oil cooler? These engines run on the cool side and civy trucks of the day with 6.2 and 6.5 like panel trucks did not have these massive coolers plus no ac condenser in the hmmwv stack like a civy...

Spin on oil filter for 1989 M929

No one but the military kept using the old school nhc250 so the years don't align. M35a2 gave you the correct part numbers. Many threads on it here in the 5 ton section. The spin on come in many flavors of extended capacity, drain intervals etc...

M923a2 Coolant System Drain and Flush:

Adding a block heater to a nhc 250 is super easy. You can always capture and reuse the coolant with the drain cock if good.

    M101a1 trailer rebuild

Those are LT so they will handle higher weight and pressure. 30-35 normal loads ok and you have wiggle room to pump up when carrying a heavier load. Your limiting factor in my opinion is the tube. Is it a radial tube? Did you put flaps in to protect the tube?

    Combat rim valve stem size?

Yes, you can replace the rubber seals. Not sure if those are fmtv or combat wheels. Probably need to check dimensions.

I used large bore commercial stems on the back as I do not plan on rotating. My spare is...

Can’t find any info on a switch present on my Humvee

I am guessing a field modification for an amber warning beacon light is my guess for the switch. Welcome to Steel Soldiers. As a kid I lived in Rome 1971-1972. Wish I had been older.

iBis Tek incandescent light bar kit for Humvee?

Ibis Tek IR/halogen light bars were installed in some MP trucks on the front windshield that also had flashing blues. Some slant backs also had a rear facing 24 inch light bar in the back. I have also seen some gun trucks with light bars on the turrets probably field mods. These were probably...

M998 with 200 amp alt running in the red

If you have wet cell batteries, pop the caps and check fluid levels. Batteries could be boiling over needing acid/distilled water mix. There is a simple ball float hydrometer tool to check acid water mix.

    What is this?

Yes. Radio mount on a fender mounting bracket. Also newer style antenna mount tower. Sometimes there is a reinforcement plate underneath the fender for antenna tower. I would be interested in the tower and plate if you have no use.
