Very unlikely - if we were actually processing zombies in concentration camps there would be someone protesting their mistreatment. PETZ would be calling us monsters and comparing us to Stalin and Hitler.
No, I'm convinced that the zombies are not being processed anywhere, but rather are being...
While I suspect that you are making fun of me - I will give you the respect of an honest answer and not rise to your bait.
Powering the massive motors required to move an adequate CFM through the scrubbers and into my compound was a major issue, even with my perfection of cold fusion. The cost...
Pretty cool - I used similar methods when building my underground bunkers. Digging down the first 20 feet is no problem but after that it gets difficult. I finally gave up when I got down 1/4 mile. Power for the massive ventilators was another big challenge, but after perfecting cold fusion I...
Interesting info - thread is about a fixed-wing aircraft, but the info applies to this as well. Looks like reregistration could / should be possible.

It also said as needed for maintenance and test drives. Since there is no authority to file a "flight plan" with it would seem to me that the test drive and maintenance clauses leave members a lot of latitude for their MV use.
New set of tires or tie rods? Drive it to the trails to test their...
Happens, but it doesn't make it ok. I doubt anyone will ever actually get popped for having it, but surely if someone in recovery saw that post they would be raising a flag. Each of those items is serialized - if it still belongs to the military then I wouldn't want to spend money on it.
I had (still have for now) an M1026 - and if I was going to go after another vehicle it would be a hard choice if those were the only two available. For brute toughness, another HMMWV (not and H1) - for bad-ass factor in a civilian street vehicle - the MXT.
You know you can actually create a...
I'd suggest calling Zack Carey. He's got a fully functional Sherman tank that I suspect he's not getting a lot of use out of right now, considering the cost of fuel and his fishing hobby (he's a retired CSM).
The tank went through a COMPLETE restoration in the 80's and was in great shape. It...
I know there are a bunch of other SS members that are currently deployed. Since they may have limited access to the site, please feel free to post their user names and if appropriate their deployment status (location / expected return date).
I'll go ahead and add them to the list!
If my experiences are any indication - take extra belts, radiator hoses, and plenty of fluids (for the truck and you). It wouldn't hurt to have a good spare tire on your recovery.
Most importantly, don't push the motor. I blew one up because the truck was willing to do more than the engine was.
Between the OP and Heavysteven this makes the fourth story about a SS member hitting a house, nearly hitting a house, or getting stuck in their own yard.
Since I sold my MV I won't be going to the FL rally, but if I were there is a good chance I'd park FAR away from you guys! :-)
1. Yes - but there is no reason to do that. There is a 12V take-off for your stereo and other civy electronics.
2. I would have to guess around 16 mpg (I have a 6.2L HMMWV and I get 12mpg) and no - 80mph is not gonna happen
3. Sure
4. Diesel is better - for more detail do a web search...
