I believe you may have a 1600 if it is 4 inches higher. I like the good year because it came on the truck :) and I like the tread pattern as silly as it sounds
Yep the man is right the 900 series is to wide. It was made for three in the cab not two. Which kinda sucks because there are a lot more Deuce tops than the 900 series. I have to replace mine this year so I know :)
ARYankee that's the best part of these trucks ( You are never without some thing to do ) :) bp it looks great I don't think it will matter about the rain as much as just don't let the water pool on it in the sun. I painted my bumper as a test spot and it rained the same evening , Well within 24...
I remember a thread on here a couple of years ago that if you let a multi fuel idle for long or it would begin to slobber. I try to never let my 250 Cummins run for to long because of the wasted fuel. I can understand the cool down time if you are running a turbo but, never could understand...
Good job on the move, I have two commercial batteries still in side the cab each with 900 cca,s. Two works just fine instead of four . I am looking into the possibility of an independent 12 volt battery also so please keep me posted on your progress with yours.........
Very nice truck I have an 85 and I know you are going to love it. As far as the air pressure mine does the same thing it it sits for long . I also found one of the glad hands was cracked open so it wouldn't hurt to start there. I hope you enjoy your new toy.......
Welcome from your neighbor down in SC. Be very careful MV's are like the lays potato chip no one can have just one .... Okay so now you have been warned. :)
I don't see the problem in DC. I broke down ( a flat tire on my bike put me on the street ) I had a policeman lead me to a 24 hour tire shop only problem was they didn't fix motorcycle tires. I had a 12 inch knife on my side across from the fifth street market down town DC on a Sunday night. I...
Ok nice pictures but YOUR ALL NUTS :) just wait for the ice to melt then fish for petes sake! Winter is made for spending indoors with company in front of a fire place and the only place you find ice at my house is mixed with Crown and Coke .... Or just Coke mostly......Ok in the fridge but...
Well to answer the question most of my knowledge of these tires is from reading not one but many threads and articles posted on here. What some are for getting to factor into this discussion is that the statistics are based on the tire being NEW!. Most of the tires on these trucks could have...
I have the 1400x20,s and I have read every thing I could that was available on these tires I do not run them over 50MPH. These tires were designed for off road use more than on road. They are singles so when they blow there is no backup it isn't pretty and have been linked to many fatalities...
I use Diesel Clean with octane boost it is under 8 dollars and is the only one I use. They also have products to remove deposits and water out of the tank and fuel lines. I put a bottle of it in every fill up and it works great.
