I have a Mico Lock on the shelf that came out of a large International... I'll bring it with me to Aberdeen...
Mico still makes them (do a Google for the company) and supports the older setups (I have the contact info for thier tech guy who knows how to work the cross references between the...
Yeah, for me, perhaps a cleat or two to match my toolbox or mermite, or ammo can... More likely, some footman loops so that I can attach some straps and have greater flexibility on what I store since different trips need different stuff...
Looking really good there.... I'll cross my fingers for your making that Memorial Day debut, but it looks like you've got everything on schedule... :)
I got in a pair of door frames and skins for mine from John last week along with some small parts, and everything looked wonderful as...
If they are the bulbs that I am thinking of, they have the three metal tabs on the back of the bulb that match up perfectly to the plugs sold at auto parts stores... Just pick up a couple of plugs with pigtails and make up a wiring adapter for you new bulbs. Nice thing is that the same plug...
Not that I know much about these...but: If you end up wanting to put a new head on it, I still have that new one in the box that I tried to send to Bjorn when he was deadlined during his trip to CA. UPS found it and returned it (a month later...).
Good luck with it.
Re: can
But then you will have to get off the couch when you need a drink... :(
Seriously, I don't know how I could survive without mine... Hope you get a good price for it...
Not really. There is a slight difference between the various Dodge 230 cu in flatheads so you need to make sure that you get the right gasket, but otherwise, there is no reason not to get it locally.

I agree, save the Mermite for holding your drinks for after the climb... With the inserts removed, you can put in 24 12oz cans and plenty of ice... Use an ammo can for the climbing gear...
My M35A2C has a flapper on it (ex USAF truck). The M35A2 lives with a bean can on the stack (love to see it go flying when the truck is cranked up in the morning...).
We should line everyone up at Aberdeen and go for distance and accuracy... :)
For those of you who like to plan ahead... This was posted on the NCMVPA website this morning and I thought that I would pass it along.
"Hey Everyone,
I'd like to invite everyone on this forum to the 2nd Annual N.C. Military Vehicle Show on September 8th 2007. It will be hosted once again at...
OK, I have put Tony Casey into the spots that I got from BlythewoodJoe. David Doyle will be using a table at my spot to hawk his books (and the extra convoy shirts).
Kenny will be bunking with me assuming that his flight and rental plans work out...
Other than that, the big list above looks...
Hey, it looks better than you described it... The tailgate looks nice (and it does have the MWO applied), and you can't see the rust in the bottom of the doors in the photos... :)
You will need to talk to John Winslow about getting a set of Michelins for it, or talk me out of the Grip Spurs...
Well, I was finishing up some PM work on my '83 M35A2C (getting it ready for the Convoy to Aberdeen) and was working the ol' grease gun on all the zerks underneath when I noticed that the u-joint at the rear of the long driveshaft (between the t-case and forward rear axle) was shot... Like...
RE: Okay - so I
Geez, let a guy drive your M38, then let him drive your M35A2C, then the M274A5... Don't let him drive your M37... What does he do? He goes out and gets one for himself... ;)
Congratulations!
The M37, M101, M101A1, M104, M105, M35, M1061 all use the same size Budd 1 1/2" hex. The M1061 leveling jacks and spare tire carier use the 13/16" Budd square thimble.
Getting a few of the combination sockets for use with your air wrench or Craftsman is a good thing (I cary one in each truck...
RE: Can
Joe, now you got me in a quandry... The ATHS/NCMVPA spring show at the Spencer Shops is the same weekend as the show in Ft. Jackson... The ATHS guys who put together the show in NC finally figured out that more of us would show up if they moved the date to a weekend after Aberdeen...
Kenny, you fly in, and we'll find a spot for you to sleep... I'm taking both the M35 and the M37, and they both can sleep quite a few folks between them... Heck, I'll even toss a cot and one of my spare sleeping bags in the truck for you if you'd like...
