Thank you sir, The books are good, but learning from others experience is so much better in real world situations. I liken it to apprenticing in a trade. You read and learn theory, and then you work in the field with the master side by side actually doing it. that is the real teaching...
I restopect, I do not trust the voltage readings on my $2 meter at all now. I do have the bats hooked up wrong. I plan on correcting that sat, reinstalling the starter, and hopefully bringing this thing to life. I will report back on sunday. It says "Private" under my handle for a reason...
Thank you for the replies. Mckee, I'm not real good at schematics, but I think I understand what your saying. In simple terms, I removed the orginal 6v's, left the "long" battery cables attached to their original terminals (both pos and neg) and removed the very short cables and terminals that...
sorry about the quality, I left the cables in the original orientation on the terminals for the main pos and neg, and deleted the short jumpers betw/ the 2 6v in each box. was rading 24v @ the slave recep. also

right now the loading dock @redstone is out of commission. if/when you make arrangements to pick up or load out, they may recommend the rgn. if you decide on the step deck, the have a big cat loader they'll mash it on to your trailer with..... or hire a wrecker svc to lift each end up...
May seem like (another) dumb question. Just got my m 817 and have started going thru some of the usual items. the truck was deliverred not running, but is complete and everything appears to be in well maintained condition.
my question went to drain the sediment/ water from the...
those look like NJ plates on the buick, maybe it has the duramax w/ the allison, 14 bolt corp rear too? dunno, Jersey is a long way up I-95 from Aberdeen....
any carriers u might suggest Floridianson? I've put it out for the bid on U*ship, but that set up is exactly what I'm looking to contract. The LZ @ point of arrival consists of me and a 1 ton pickup. right now....
thank you for hitting me back sir. I've gotten a few quotes for lowboy service. seems to be running on the 2.50 to 3.50 per mile loaded. given fuel prices currently, to be expected. Any chance you noticed her while you were up there? a little nervous considering some other people's...
