I have been meaning to have some cases cast. The plan is to fab the core myself (said that last year) and have a foundry owner buddy do the rest, make the box and pour. He casts only Al but knows a pal that can do Fe if I so choose. Plan A is to do one in Al, as a test, then 4 in Fe. Plan B is...
Correction- The -24 TM has intake manifold bolt torque at 45-55 ft*lbs, not the 5-6 ft*lbs figure above. The lower figure is for the old BB Hemi. Sorry.
To elaborate on BT3.3's comment. The cam is gear drive w/o idlers so it turns backwards. It has a mirror grind and can be found on ebay for about 70$.
Suggest you carefully check bottom of filter can (stock cartridge style). It can become a sludge trap of sorts. There is also a filter bypass...
Anyone know these markings?
Photos are all cropped from the same old Polaroid. Truck is a M706E1, Probably used by the Army, not Air Force, Marine Corps, ARVN... My guess US/F--, US/EO/8--.
1 CAV 1/9 was also found under paint.
Suggestions? (for the markings in photo). Thanks. Jim
Me too.
So do you remember what the number the 350 button was?
I looked at that rear fuel rail port... If I remember correctly I thought it was a tough access due to the firewall being too close. For me it was more trouble than it was worth (dual feed). Then I have been know to be lazy...
Photo above
My diagram above really sucks. Here is a photo w/ added clarification.
Only 4 wires (from the army trailer cord) shown w/o cover, inside the box, at extreme left corner (tied together w/ zip tie) are being used. The photo does not show that some are not connected
I made that for my 1993 Talbert Equipment trailer. It has 2 bulbs on each side of tail, a Trucklite brake light (twin filament uses one) and a turn signal/ tail light (twin filament uses both), if I recall correctly. My 97 Ford Ranger has a factory module under back bumper between harness and...
Three photos of the 2013 Baldwinsville Memorial Day Parade and one photo after the 2013 Syracuse Veterans Day Parade (restaurant parking lot w/ my pal Dave). Dave and his family have been using my duece the last few years. Dave served as a medic, then medic trainer (both state-side) during the...
My 3500's transmission (2x2 w/H-L) shows a casting date around 65' (side, by your knee). If you need a page or two out of the manual I will scan and e-mail.
Mine too. Cold blooded w/poor throttle response above 1/2 throttle when warm. After going thru the carb and getting no improvement I went back and drilled the main from .040" to .046" and soldered shut all but 2 of the air ports on the top half of the nozzle (there were 8, which by themselves...
My air pump has a 125CR14898 cast into the top in big #. That 125 matches the R- 125 mod # on the chassis data plate . The x in column on far left. Must be the same as the CFM
