My 1971 Am General m109a3 RV build

I looked at them and I will look into it. The roof has a very slight spot of surface rust and it doesn't look like it went through. I'm going to inspect it more closely when I get inside the box more. And might have to take some panels out. On a side note, The floor is perfectly solid and...

My 1971 Am General m109a3 RV build

Today it was 75 degrees and I relocated the axle, transfer case and transmission breathers. On my other truck I found that even after driving if the breathers are cleaned I would have pressure inside them so moving the breathers to the engine bay was to help in case of fording ant water and to...

My 1971 Am General m109a3 RV build

John went through the truck and made sure everything was good to go. Today, my Dad and I went and picked up the truck. We brought all of the typical parts you might bring in case of a break down and headed to John's. We arrived and went over the rest of the details and parted ways. The...

Purpose of Synchronizing transfer on MEP-803a generator trailer

Thank you for the information. I wonder why the government would put two generators on the same trailer. I can't imagine they would require that much constant maintenance would they?

Purpose of Synchronizing transfer on MEP-803a generator trailer

I have a friend that just bought a Joint Electronics MEP-803a trailer with two MEP-803a generators mounted to the trailer. He doesn't know alot about the setup so I am trying to get some info on it. On the trailer, there are two large cables that go into a box that says synchronizing transfer...

My new camping build: m105a2 w/S-250 shelter

They aren't too hard to find. Price will vary depending on condition. I see them online or on auctions but you might have to drive or ship one into NV. Alot of them have massive gashes in the side from a forklift so you have to look around a bit to find a nice one.
