Please clarify wether you are adding a new lightbar, or replacing and existing unit. Also voltage is very crucial unfortunately, so, lightbar requirement (on manufactured sticker), and voltage you are currently running on your deuce need to be known.

Agree 100%. Id like to see what a load behind it does. I have my Studebaker M35A2 still loaded on the tagalong trailer, maybe I’ll take another ride tomorrow. 16k lbs should be a good workout lol

That cleared up my confusion perfectly. Thank you.
Maybe some one should create a layman’s version of IP style identification

I wouldn’t call it instant but pretty quick for sure lol. The process of getting 75 tons of military vehicles home has been, enlightening to say the least, of just basic processes in the big truck world are complicated exponentially. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy every second of this transport...
Howdy all, New guy here. With a question, go figure 😊
M275 UPDATE
After a good cleaning I got around to installing the pyro in the truck. An open bung was already installed a few inches past the turbo so I did a post turbo arrangement. Standard easy pedal driving was 5-600 degrees depending on...
This is the IP I have on my wrecker. It’s a PT with a VS gov, and the fuel button indicated a 45 on it. It is configured a little different than what is normally installed as the throttle shaft cover plate is round and the fuel needle access is mounted internally instead of under the infamous...
So the parts Wrecker I bought turned out to be in much better shape than my original one so the swap of equipment and tackle has begun. Today is tire day. Probably the least of my favorite tasks as I just installed the 395s a month ago after swapping out the MRAP aluminum’s for combat steels (in...
Long story but in a nut shell... Had been on the search for a 5 ton Wrecker for quite a while. Purchased the 72 m816 4 months ago, bought the second wrecker for parts a month later (which turns out is in way better shape and complete), and the other 5 were offered in a deal I couldn’t refuse...
Just recently found out that the M275 had been turned up previously, and there was a pyro and boost gauge but had been removed. So egt gauge install and a little de-tune time.

Haha. My girlfriend actually went in on this venture willingly for some reason. Don’t have any good pics of the 55 Studebaker M35A2 yet, but here’s the other heathens.

Spectacular, I was hoping the answer was, yes the tractors come turned up for pulling power and let er' rip, so I guess back under the hood I go. Where is the best place to get info on appropriate egt temps? Thank you for all of the welcome and quick help responses. I have followed the solders...
So I'm the proud new parent of 4 deuces and 3, 809 series 5 tons. Birthing these things to my house has been quite an experience, ranging from driving the things to trailer in them behind my mega-cab Dodge. Anywho, my M275 hauls butt, an unusual amount of butt, like spin the rear 8 tires on the...
