    M101/105 bow parts question

Always thought they were there to take up some slack. M105 stake pockets are smaller dimensionally than m101.

    1978 M416A1 Rebuild

I’ve run tubeless tires on a few different m416s with stock wheels with no issues.

    1958 Machine shop Deuce

Still has it last I knew.

    J Pipe Repairs

I’ve welded in a couple elbows to fix one. I welded a couple pieces of scrap from the inlet end to the stack to keep everything in place while I fitted up the new elbows.

    Rick Larsen's Military Stencils

I visited Rick on Sunday, he is doing ok. He may not be making stencils for a while, but hopefully he will be back at it soon. He is definitely one of the best in the hobby.

M246 in the busted hydraulic hose club

My m62 was still in service and had a bunch of work done to it in the 90s. They just took out the steel lines and ran long hoses with a guard. This is how I’ll do my m108 if I ever get to it.

    Got my m246a1 (reaper) home!

This m246a1 was definitely a Mack back in the 1990s, I'd suspect it was done by the military but it's possible it was done later. The truck has been listed since the at least the later 1990s in magazines. Back then it still had hydraulic brakes and a set of air brake axles were included. Here...

    Found remnants of a decal…

Maybe it's one of member jcappeljr's old trucks?

    M34 Active duty

I think one is 6volt, not sure about the other one. I’ll have to see if I can find it. I see them on eBay now and then.

    M34 Active duty

I believe that’s an electric defroster. I have a couple here around somewhere.

    Turbo Identification (whistler or not?)

Starting around 1973 or so deuces were turbocharged from the factory and had a turbo different from the common “whistler” and “non whistler” everyone usually has. The one I had years ago had a little bit of whistle but nothing like the true whistler. Perhaps it’s that model as they did have a...

Uprights and Bows - What do I have?

I have a set of bows like that, thought they were for a HEMTT.

New to me m59 dump truck...

No hydraulic work needed, just have to remove the driveshaft between the PTO and hydraulic pump and the two control rods. The pump hangs down a bit so you’ll have to lift the bed higher to clear the truck frame.

New to me m59 dump truck...

I didn't notice any differences between the subframes, beds, or tailgates (except the style of tarp hooks which is probably unrelated). The cab protector is a little bit taller on the m215 than on the m59 I've measured. If you're talking about the rivets on the front subframe mounts then those...

For anyone needing new wheels for your M1009 8 inch wide

Have you used these yet? People are saying they won’t fit blazers. They definitely won’t fit m1008 trucks as those are 8 lug hubs not 6 lug.

M62 wrecker with an m246 boom

I’d have to find the m62 load chart but if I’m not mistaken the load ratings are the same or very similar for the first 18ft.
