That emblem has been on S.S. as long as I can remember.....
I wouldn't be adverse to it's removal........it doesn't make or break a logo I believe. I do know it's been used for a long time with association to different military units. Some with a not so nice implied...
So, the incoming signals power is what is used to "broadcast" it from the other antenna? So, if weak on the outside antenna, wouldn't do much good without a booster inline? I don't normally do radio stuff, so this is outside of my area of expertise and it's really cool to learn. THANKS gentlemen!
I'm stupid here...................two antennas.................One to receive and one to transmit inside the shelter? Used as a signal "conduit"???? Just asking and looking to learn.

Good work fellas! Lots of neat ideas being presented. I also believe, "less is more" when it comes to emblems and logos.......................WAY too easy to get cluttered and name/emphasis lost in clutter and many colors................

Well, trucks pretty much back together. Oil and filters changed. Fluids checked and topped off. Air-shift transfer case works smoothly and shifts well, even on the fly. Got the spare rehung(tight with 11-20's). Changed duct work from heating unit as I noticed a couple of holes.
Over all...
Got the tunnel, seats, and door put on. Redid the mirror mounting rod and smoothed and greased hinge pins for door. Drained oil and prepped for filter cannister removal tomorrow when Wix filters arrive. So far, so good.........slow and.steady.......enjoying time with the truck and dogs. One...
