Low air pressure alarm not working.....

Wow I would never unplug mine! Why would you do that? I'll take a few seconds of annoying noise over unexpected breakdown / big problems without warning.

Low air pressure alarm not working.....

I am no good at reading wiring diagrams but you can find one in TM 9-2320-361-20 page 2-120 (which is page 206 in the PDF file)

    Compressor going bad?

Mine will hold some pressure overnight. Not full pressure but still had some in the tank after 12 hours or a little more.

    Hood - Rubber Strip Replacement

As update: the tire strip I used was WAY too thick. Will have to tear it off and try again with something else. The hood latch won't reach and there's a big gap between the hood and the side panel.

    Oil Leak from exhaust

Steven I've seen your Youtube video also RE the fuel line replacement you did. Is that yellow line rated for handling fuel, though? Specifically will it handle diesel and WMO? This is a job I need to do probably next spring.

The RIGHT way to install a Solargizer...

I'm changing out the hood on my deuce. I already had a new solargizer off e-bay but I figured I would keep using the old one until it dies. Today I removed the bolts on the old one but it still wouldn't come loose. I thought maybe some sealant around the holes? I pried up each corner carefully...

    fuel return line

This place around the corner from my office made me one for $19. Not braided but should do fine, that's not high-pressure there of course.

    fuel return line

Searching for "fuel return line" turns up a lot of threads. After looking through 3 pages of them, this one seems related to my problem. The soft (rubber) fuel return line coming off the final filter elbow and going to a hard line under the frame (return line) is leaking on my truck. I have...

    Windshield Frame Seal

I just realized something: the glass shop I went to left out the rubber strips around the panes. They said they had something that fit better. But I can see now that part of the function of those rubber strips was to keep water out of the frames. Without them...maybe some kind of glazing or...

    Windshield Frame Seal

OK the first one is done. Once you get the technique figured out, it isn't too bad. Also I used "personal lubricant" (water-based) instead of soap, and that seemed to work real well. THANKS!

    Windshield Frame Seal

Mainly post #14 up there disagreeing with you but I've certainly come to trust your advice. I do take his point about the windshield frame being beveled to match, though. That's what gave me a seed of doubt.
