    Mike, I was thinking since I put the self etching primer + the Rustoleum Rusty Metal primer that I didn't need to pay for the Behr paint with primer included. It is much cheaper per gallon without the Behr primer included.

    OMG I'm so tired of paint prep work. I wish you luck my friend. So far I have wire wheeled the entire frame, front fenders and front bumper to bare steel. I then self etch primed them and put Rustoleum rusty metal primer on the frame as a second primer. Three coats of self etch and 3 coats...

    I put RTV in the keyway for each piece. Kind of topped it off if you will. After the outer nut went on I smeared it flat. No leaks!

    Break in the weather today. I sanded the entire cab and front end. What a chore! It's raining now. Should clear up Fri/Sat/Sun.

    I used www.brake-hose.com for custom braided stainless steel brake lines on my bobbed deuce. Labeled DOT and tested per the law (3000psi). They are in Georgia. tel:1-888-767-8693
